This paper presents the concept of metal expansion joints manufacturing using a mechanically assisted laserforming hybrid method. The are made tube an appropriate diameter and wall thickness with combined bellow-lens shape. assumes CO2 laser to implement such joints. beam heats selected area rotating tube, mounted on swivel handle one side actuator other end. After reaching plasticising temperature, compresses element. As result, shape is formed at plasticization area. Initial experimental studies confirmed validity concept. joint (type DN20) was obtained as final result. presented idea element method were submitted Patent Office RP.
